[edit] Midgetism Done
I feel that the deletion of the page: Midgetism was unjust. The speedy deletion warning due to "nonsense" and “no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent" was deleted by accident. I'm contesting this deletion because (1) I do not feel my hypothesis is "nonsense" and (2) I would not have staked my whole University credit on this topic if it was "unsalvageably incoherent". So I feel just because as of yet my hypothesis doesn't have any 'tangible" evidence I still believe people aught to know, and you are therefore censoring me. True I did make up a reference and person but i felt that if I didn't do that it would be deleted for sure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheBoxNinja (talk • contribs) 18:13, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page move Done
I saw you moved Smith Breeden. I kind of think the text will always be short aside from the table and it will generally be considered a list rather than an article. I think it should be moved back. However, if you think there is a lot more to the award you are welcome to add some citations and then move List of Winners of the Brattle Prize in a similar manner. Let me know what you think.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/tcfkaWCDbwincowtchatlotpsoplrttaDCLaM) 01:48, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well I moved it before you finished the table, thinking that was all there was. So at the time I did it, there was more text then list, and it just appeared as a regular article, not a list. If you feel it's better off the other way, go for the switch. Perhaps even just split the info/details on the Smith Breeden Prize and then list of winners on the other article. I think this would be a more 'wikipedia' way of doing it. The intro paragraph just seems like a large piece of text for a list article. But that's just my thoughts. I have no background knowledge of the award, so you know more of what to do when I do. --Pilotboi / talk / contribs 01:53, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Prince Umberto's Pizzeria Done

[edit] J Atencio Done
Thanks for the note; that is the wonkiest bug I think I have yet seen. I was deleting a page for a7. It appears the page was deleted (by CambridgeBayWeather here after I clicked to nominated it for speedy; no idea why it created the page with the bit about the page not created. I am new to using Twinkle, but this seems rather odd. Thanks, in any event, for letting me know, I'll send the bug to WP:TW. Cheers, --TeaDrinker 06:09, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- No problem, bugs happen. Figured it was such. --Pilotboi / talk / contribs 06:11, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Plecostomus (band) Done
What happened at Plecostomus (band) is that the article was speedily deleted largely due to copyright infringement. Right before you commented, the same editor put up a version with the infringing material stripped, which returned us to the root problem: lack of notability. I've advised him to discuss the article, how the band is notable, and what reliable sources are available before he recreates. —C.Fred (talk) 04:51, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Reference templates Done
Hi there, I see you're watching new pages and doing a good job marking those that need references. Note that in addition to the {{sources}} template you are using, there is also {{unreferenced}}, which is specifically for pages which have no references at all, which is the case for the ones I noticed. Note that they are then placed in different categories, with the ones with no references perhaps being treated more urgently. See the template pages for more discussion on their usages. Thanks for your diligent work and happy flying. Rigadoun (talk) 03:54, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] This Comes After Your Notification Done
When you pointed out the article was uncategorized, I tried to create the category. The only problem is, I really don't know how to do so! When I tried doing it, I looked to the edit section for the category:National Geographic Society for help, but it only gave a handful of advice (and I would put it as this will likely require three handfuls at the least!) Though I did my best with it, the link to the new category doesn't really show up right (look back at the article and you'll see why.) Since you pointed out the need for a category in the first place, I'm presuming you know about creating them. Could you please explain this to me, or provide me with a link to a page which will? Thank you in advance. Wilhelmina Will 06:10, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Sorry about that part. I noticed you requested that commentors leave links, but I guess leaving a link to a category will only put your talk page in that category! (laughs). Wilhelmina Will 06:15, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bigshow Radio Los Angeles Done
{{hangon}}
I think I am supposed to post "hang on here"...
First and foremost "Spam" how can you spam to a site that is not only FREE it doesn't even have advertisers? The site is created by local Los Angeles musicians to help other Local musician. And well in simplest definition music is an art form especially when it's free. The Wiki page does not mention band names services nor any other form of commercialism. What it does mention that their is a group of musicians "artist" that have created a place for local artist to showcase their art without restrictions nor obligations.

[edit] Hadeth, Beyrouth , Lebanon Done
Please be aware that simply not being written in English is not a valid speedy deletion criteria. I have tagged this article as needing translation and listed it on the appropriate page. Natalie 00:16, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Things can be deleted if they are not in English and already exist on another language Wikipedia. That may be why you've seen non-English things deleted. Also, various admins and CSD patrollers speak other languages, at least enough to determine if an article meets other CSD criteria, so they may delete something that isn't in English for a different reason. And it's always possible that some people are using that as a CSD criteria, even though they aren't supposed to. We all make mistakes, though! Natalie 01:10, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ERAU
I just sent in my application to Embry-Riddle. Just wanted you to know! Sox23 23:05, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hey- I found out I was accepted the other day and they're offering me $8,500/yr. How much do you think it will cost going there? I also got into Purdue's Flight program, so I'm debating between the two. Any info you have no either of these schools would help a lot! Thanks Sox23 20:43, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
