  Sammy. Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole" while putting it into the tape player. It    
  is a commonly held belief that AC/DC's "Back in Black" starts to play."

-> Metallica is written on the cover of the cassette (the cassette itself is not visible, but the rattling indicates that there is a cassette inside). You don't actually see Dean changing cassettes (you only see his shoulders move as well as hearing the appropriate sounds). Dean puts an empty cover ("Metallica" written on it) back. And it IS without ANY doubt AC/DC with "Back in Black" that starts to play. That's how this scene goes.
