Pilot Township is located in Vermilion County, Illinois. The population was 658 at the 2000 census.

Pilot Township covers an area of 62.27 square miles and contains the unincorporated town of Collison. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Collison, Emberry Chaple, Knight's Branch, Rice, Stump and Trimmell.
