Pilot Flying

The Pilot Flying (PF) is the pilot being in charge of flying the aircraft in a crew of more than one pilots. The PF is for instance the one that calls for certain checklist procedures at certain moments of the flight, like for instance immediately after aircraft take off, when entering the approach environment or at landing. The Pilot Monitoring is the one that executes the checklist. It is often the First Officer that act as PF in order to achieve experience and prepare for Captain examination.
