Pilar Montenegro (born Maria del Pilar Montenegro López on May 31, 1969) is a Mexican Latin pop singer and actress.

When Pilar was 10 years old she landed her first acting part in the TV series Juguemos A Cantar, her career moved along with her becoming a member of Fresas Con Crema, she was only with the group for a short period of time. In 1989 she joined the group Garibaldi at age 17, she spent a few years with the group which became very popular during the early 90s. During the mid 90s she expanded her career as an actress when she began to appear in soap operas. Also in the mid 90s she left Garibaldi to pursue a solo career. By 1996 she released her debut album Son Del Corazon.

In 2001 Pilar remerged into the music scene with her second album Desahogo. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Latin Billboard Chart and sold over 200,000 copies in the United States reaching Platinum status. The album produced the hit single, a cover of Yolandita Monge's "Quitame Ese Hombre", which hit No. 1 and earned Pilar various award nominations. The song spent 13 weeks at the top of the U.S. Hot Latin Tracks and would go on to spend a massive 13 weeks at the top of the World Latin Chart. Following the huge success of her second album she released her third album in 2004 entitled Pilar. The album was a failure debuting at No. 34 and sold poorly. She later released new material in 2004 and 2005 but again had no success.
