Pilar Manjón

Pilar Manjón is the president of the Asociación 11-M Afectados del Terrorismo (Association for the victims of 11-M)

She was born in Plasencia. She's a civil servant and a member of the labour union Comisiones Obreras from Madrid.

Her son, Daniel Paz Manjón, when he was only 20 years old, died in the Madrid 11-M attacks.

She has been very critical with all the attitudes of all the Spanish politicians and specially with the government. She became famous after her interventions on TV. She asked the TV channels not to broadcast pictures of the attacks anymore.
