PikeView High School

PikeView High School is a public high school located in Mercer County, West Virginia. It serves grades 9-12, and is administered by Mercer County Schools.

PikeView High School has an enrollment of 657 students, and 60 staff members.[1] The current principal is Ben Disibbio. Lavada Shrewsbery and Russell Mitchem are the current vice principals.

Pikeview High School was established in 1994 after the consolidation of Lashmeet/Matoaka, Oakvale, Spanishburg and Athens High Schools. It is located near Princeton, WV, on Eads Mill Road.

PikeView High School is noted for its academic achievement. Test Scores are among the highest in the state of West Virginia. PikeView High School is a West Virginia School of Excellence.

PikeView's colors are red, black, and white. The mascot is the panther. PikeView's mascot's name is AMOS. It stands for the four school's which feed into PikeView: Athens, Matoaka, Oakvale, and Spanishburg.

PikeView High School is classified as AA. It currently offers the following programs: Cross Country, Track, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Football, Soccer, Marching Band, and Golf.
