[edit] "duc de la Rochefoucauld"

Does anyone know whether the duc de la Rochefoucauld who was president of the départment of Paris was François Alexandre Frédéric, duc de la Rochefoucauld-Liancourt or Louis-Alexandre, duc de La Rochefoucauld d'Enville? I believe it's the latter, but I hesitate to add a link. -- Jmabel 03:28, Jul 19, 2004 (UTC)

According to French wiki, you were right: Après la séparation de l'Assemblée constituante, (Louis Alexandre de La Rochefoucauld-d'Enville) devint membre du directoire du département. Dahn 14:51, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Portrait

The portrait is NOT that of Pierre-Louis Roederer !! Take a look at : http://www.academie-francaise.fr/immortels/base/academiciens/fiche.asp?param=288 (anon 15 June 2005)

The answer is on the talk page of the picture. Kelson 28 June 2005 13:44 (UTC)
I don't see any answer there, just the same link and the remark that it's not a portrait of Roederer. -- Jmabel | Talk June 29, 2005 15:38 (UTC)
