The Pierre Lapointe whose photo is linked to this article is not the same Pierre Lapointe whose name appears in a list of members on Montreal city council. Marty55 15:44, 30 August 2006 (UTC) Marty55 19:17, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

I don't have access to a ton of Quebec media, so I may be behind, but after all my research on the Internet, I've come to the conclusion that we don't really know much about him, do we? Except that he's less self-assured in real life than his persona would suggest, we know very little. If anybody could post some material about his CDs (inspiration for, reception of) or his popularity in Quebec, that would be mucho helpful.

[edit] "Lumberjack Theme"

I'm not sure I understand the trivia section. I'm holding the CD in question in question in my hand, and I don't see a "lumberjack theme" at all. He looks more like he belongs in a painting by Vermeer or Rembrandt. Do we have a citation? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.146.25.210 (talk) 05:21, 7 January 2007 (UTC).
