Pietro Scalvini

Pietro Scalvini (1718-1792) was an Italian painter of the late-Baroque and Neoclassic period, active in Brescia.
While training with Francesco Cairo, he is said to have been resistant to learning symmetry and proportions. He became a mediocre painter of small figures.
