Pietari Inkinen

Pietari Inkinen (born in 1980) is a Finnish violinist and conductor. He studied in the Sibelius Academy, where he received his violin (2003) and conductor (2005) diplomas. Having already performed with a number of major orchestras, on May 2007, he was named as the Artistic Director of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra starting in 2008. His instrument is Carlo Bergonzi 1732.
