H.E. Msgr. Pierre Bürcher (born on December 20, 1945 in Fiesch (Switzerland)) is a Swiss prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, currently serving as bishop of Diocese of Reykjavík (Iceland).
On October 30, 2007, H.E. Msgr. Pierre Bürcher, until now Titular bishop of Maximiana in Byzacena and Auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Lausanne, Genève and Fribourg (Switzerland), was appointed Bishop of Reykjavík by Pope Benedict XVI.[1]
