Pieris japonica (Japanese andromeda) is a plant in the heath family, Ericaceae, native to eastern Asia and Japan, but also widely cultivated in gardens.

Pieris japonica is a shrub with alternate, simple leaves, on brittle stems. The flowers are white, borne in early spring.
