Pierce Langford III

Pierce Langford III, of Wichita Falls, Texas, was the manager of the political fortunes of U.S. Sentator John Tower whose family lived in the same North Texas community. Langford's son Pierce Langford, Jr., served as an intern for John Tower.

Pierce Langford III had ties to many persons who had made fortunes in Texas oil drilling. He was also instrumental in financing the British offshore pirate radio stations of Don Pierson from Eastland, Texas.
