Pierce Hanley (born 1989) is an Australian rules footballer and a Mayo GAA and Ballaghaderreen Gaelic football player. Pierce made his debut in 2007 against Cavan. Hanley had previously won the Ron Barassi medal for the best player of the international rules two years ago for the Irish U-17 International Rules team against Australia.

In 2007, Pierce was signed by the Brisbane Lions professional club in Australia, which would see him convert to Australian rules football.[1]
