Pier Alberto Carrara (born February 14, 1968 in Bergamo) is an Italian former biathlete. At the 1998 Olympics he won a silver on the 20 km. In the 1992/93 season he became third in the overall World cup standings behind Mikael Löfgren and Mark Kirchner
