Pieces (band)

Pieces is a band consisting of the guitarist Buckethead and drummer Bryan "Brain" Mantia. There is only one album released under this band name, the OOP Japan-only import "I Need 5 Minutes Alone". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Need_5_Minutes_Alone http://www.bingeandgrab.com/fiveminutesalone.html Buckethead and Brain have collaborated under other names as well as their own, most recently on "Kevin's Noodle House". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin's_Noodle_House The two also were bandmates in the configuration of Guns N' Roses that recorded the yet-to-be-released "Chinese Democracy" album http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_Democracy. Other band incarnations they have been in together include Phonopsychographdisk with the live lineup of DJ Disk, DJ Xtraktd, and Brain's Primus bandmate Les Claypool. Buckethead and Brain also join Claypool on Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains.
