[edit] I am curious
"In February 1956 the castle almost completely burned"
Does anyone know how it happened? Ostap 01:55, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- No idea, perhaps you should check Ukrainian sources, as Polish sources do not provide the cause of fire. 23:49, 27 February 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tymek (talk • contribs)
[edit] DYK suggestion

[edit] "eastern borderlands of the former Commonwealth"
one minor peeve: despite of what the linked article says Pidhirtsi wasn't in the borderlands of the Commonwealth (Image:Podział administracyjny I RP.png). It only became known as "the borderlands" (kresy) during the times of the Second Republic, but in the 17th century the borders encompassed large territories known today as Greater Ukraine spaning much further to the east. --212.76.33.80 (talk) 09:00, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
