Two English pursuivants in procession on Garter Day

Well-balanced and colorful picture. Shows a great example of English ceremonial that may not see the light of day very often.

Comments:

  • I would support it! Cab02 20:48, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
  • The crowd makes a distracting background --Glaurung 05:48, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
  • I think the crowd adds to the ceremonial part. What's the use of a ceremony without the crowd? Cab02 18:09, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
    • The crowd could add if it were better composed, so the marchers stood out more. The police officer between them is particularly distracting, and the baton of the one on the left is lost against the crowd. There's also a third pursuivant whose head & feet stick out from behind the one on the right, adding a bit of confusion. --Davepape 17:23, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
  • I like it. The more heraldic featured material we can get, the better.--Eva bd 19:30, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
