This should probably be moved (replaced with) to Template:Commons, to conform with other sister project templates. -- Itai 17:56, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Prefer to edit the articles and replace these reference with {{commons|page}}, and then submit this for deletion. Using PAGENAME to generate the link is too unreliable. -- Netoholic @ 19:48, 2005 Jan 31 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaning and deletion

It has been suggested at Template talk:Commons that this template is orphaned and placed on WP:TFD. Are there any objections? -- Itai 20:46, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

It should be orphaned first. Many articles are using itincorrectly. For some, the link goes to a non-existent page on Commons (as in Mumbai (Bombay)), and others link to a redirect at Commons (like Brown Bear does). Much better to eliminate those problems. -- Netoholic @ 21:39, 2005 Jan 31 (UTC)
