The Azores were found by the portuguese when they were at war with the spanish back in the 13 hundreds there was no land animals only birds and water life some rare only to those islands also the azores has 14 different types of plants that only grow there the first settlers were brought there as prisoners they most of them were caught stealing food from Portugals big trade market that portugal was very known for rare spices and other items from around the world each island had an influence of diffeerent languages St Meguel has french influence Fial has dutch Terrcera has spanish Pico has flemmish you can hear it in the way they talk
