[edit] Boyle on dream job

Wickham Boyle, in his article states:

"When the Piccirillis immigrated to America their first job, the dream job, was carving the statue of Lincoln for the great sculptor Daniel Chester French."

The Piccirilli's came to America about 1888 and the Seated Lincoln was not carved until about 1920. Carptrash 20:46, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

I guess it was one of those great prophetic dreams. PiCo 03:43, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

well they had a dream when they came to America, as so many did, and was fufilled. They were just not [opinion] dreamong of Daniel Chester French. Though perhaps of Lincoln. Carptrash 10:28, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

NB: Check your facts. Wickham Boyle is a woman (cf. http://www.wickiworld.com/).

So that means that she has even less reason to make a mistake. Carptrash 17:49, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Balboa Park frontispiece

In Panama-California Exposition (1915) I requested a photo of the front of the California Building (San Diego Museum of Man). Such a photo would belong in this article also. -- SEWilco (talk) 05:26, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
