Pichidangui

Pichidangui is a small coastal Chilean town in the commune of Los Vilos in Choapa Province, Coquimbo Region, near the Valparaiso Region. The town has a significant amount of tourism due to its beaches. It is one of the main centers for Windsurfing in Chile, thanks to the abundant wind in the area. The town is located 197 kilometers north of the capital, Santiago.

Pichidangui is famous for its fried fish dishes in local restaurants. A favorite of the locals is fried merluza and french fries.
