The Picco pipe is a small form of duct flute that was popularized by a Sardinian player in Great Britain in the mid 19th Century.[1]
It has only three holes, and resembles the mouthpiece of a recorder.[2] The original was a Sardinian shepherd's pipe played by a man named Picco.[3]
