[edit] Redirect of Asia Cruise (album)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Asia Cruise (album), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Asia Cruise (album) is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Asia Cruise (album), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:41DfQuoQAuL. SS500 .jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:41DfQuoQAuL. SS500 .jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:26, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 106 & Park

Hard work is appreciated, but this is not appropriate information for an encyclopedia article. Please see WP:NOT#IINFO. 106 & Park does not represent the sales or the airplay of any country and their playlists are based on BET and record label executives. There were separate articles with this information already and these were deleted. - eo (talk) 00:19, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, please know this info was not removed as a dismissal of work that you've done on it. Prior to when you started the list, there is no way to source it, unless 106 & Park's own website has every single song listed since the very beginning of the show. Adding to a list in this way, one that is updated daily, presumably until the show ends or is canceled, would lead to it being gigantic in size and once months/years passed there'd be no way to cite or confirm anything. I would suggest taking the info and perhaps putting it on your own web page, or perhaps a blog space for your own personal use. - eo (talk) 00:30, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, really the article should be about the show, its history and its hosts and features (like the "Freestyle Fridays" part). I don't know who your internet service provider is, but most of them offer some webspace along with email, for example I know Comcast, Mac and Verizon do. There is also blogger.com, which is free. - eo (talk) 00:35, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi again. I didn't mean for the information to be moved to its own article, which is now what you've done. The same reasons for removal apply. - eo (talk) 01:22, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I understand your desire to keep it but Wikipedia is not a personal web host. The article about 106 & Park number-ones was deleted so there really is no reason for this one to stay... however, I will nominate it for AfD and this will give other editors a chance to form a consensus about it. - eo (talk) 01:28, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I know you had good intentions here. Right now we can let other editors give their thoughts and we can go from there depending on the outcome. - eo (talk) 01:42, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Do you feel like you have to have it online somewhere? It's basically listed the same way on the website you used as a source. I mean, if you want it for your personal knowledge you can always put it into an Excel spreadsheet and save it locally. - eo (talk) 11:56, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] User Page

You've moved the content of a deleted article and placed it onto your User Page. Unfortunately, this cannot stay here, as Wikipedia is not a personal webhost (click that link to learn more about what is appropriate for User Pages). You will need to find another place on the web to host this information if you do not want to keep it locally on your computer for your personal use. - eo (talk) 19:55, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

No, you cannot edit your user page however you want. Copies of deleted articles cannot stay on your user page. Wikipedia is not your webhost. --Geniac (talk) 14:54, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New Joints & New Entries from 106 & Park

Please stop adding all of this to the 106 & Park article. This is not notable information and it doesn't belong there. It's not being removed as a personal vendetta or based on one person's opinion.... it was deleted at WP:AfD as its own article per consensus by several Wikipedia editors. Why did you not participate in the discussion when it was nominated? I'm sorry that you cannot keep the info on your Talk Page, but again, your best bet is to keep it stored locally on your own computer or perhaps on a flash drive for your personal use. If you want it transferred, for example, to an Excel file or as text I can help you with that, but you can't keep putting it back in the article. - eo (talk) 17:52, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

I noticed that you have been helping on this page, so maybe you are a little knowledgeable about the subject. I saw the tracklisting on Amazon. Do you think this is accurate? ≈Alessandro TC 23:24, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] My Dougie

I redirected My Dougie backto Lil' Wil per WP:MUSIC, which says (emphasis mine):

Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for a prominent album or for the artist who wrote or prominently performed the song'. Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts... are probably notable. A separate article is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album.

Since there seems to be very little info on Lil' Wil himself, there's no point on having a separate permanent stub on his single. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 15:40, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
