Thanks for uploading Image:Beagle tricolor puppy.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

I removed your addition of the beagle photo for several reasons related to Wikipedia policy and consensus. First of all, please remember that Wikipedia is not an image gallery for your pets and all contributions must have encyclopedic merit. For images this means informing the adjacent text in an important way. Furthermore, from discussion on the Wikiproject Dog talk page I have intitated a cleanup of all breed articles that had excessive images. Beagle was one of these, and your recent image upload counters this effort. In short, please do not add it again. Feel free to add any images you please to your own userpage of course.
