Piazzola sul Brenta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Padua in the Italian region Veneto, located about 45 km west of Venice and about 15 km northwest of Padua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,758 and an area of 41.4 km².[1]

The municipality of Piazzola sul Brenta contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Carturo, Isola Mantegna, Presina, Tremignon, and Vaccarino.

Piazzola sul Brenta borders the following municipalities: Camisano Vicentino, Campo San Martino, Campodoro, Curtarolo, Gazzo, Grantorto, Limena, San Giorgio in Bosco, Villafranca Padovana.
