Piazzale Michelangelo

Coordinates: 43°45′46.50″N 11°15′54.56″E / 43.7629167, 11.2651556 Piazzale Michelangelo is a famous square with a magnificent panoramic view of Florence, Italy and is a popular tourist destination.

It was built in 1869 and designed by architect Giuseppe Poggi. The plaza is a tribute to Michelangelo and contains copies of some of his most famous works such as a bronze David in the middle of the square.
