Piacenzian (also known as Astian, Redonian, or Romanian) is a age of the Pliocene Epoch. It spans the time between 3.6 ± 0.005 Ma and 2.588 ± 0.005 Ma (million years ago).

It is usually referred to as the Early Late Pliocene, and sometimes, unofficially, as the Middle Pliocene.
