Physalaemus petersi is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, rivers, and freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
