Physalaemus montubio is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is endemic to Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, rivers, intermittent freshwater marshes, pastureland, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest.
