From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Pra(sat) Phu Phek or Phra That Phu Phek is a Buddhist Chedi temple ruin of Khmers, built around 1050.

It is located in tambon Na Hua Bo, Phanna Nikhom district, Sakon Nakhon Province of North-Eastern Thailand. It is about 37 km east of the town Sakon Nakhon. The temple is located within the Phu Phan National Park.

The ruins have some relevance toward sunrays (see below). Nowadays, there's a Buddhist monastery about 100 m downhill declaring to continue the tradition of the old temple.
