Phrynobatrachus minutus is a species of frog in the Petropedetidae family. It is found in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, intermittent rivers, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marches. It is threatened by habitat loss.
