I've just discovered Taylor's books, which I'm enjoying very much. I don't believe, though, that Asey is the Cape Cod pronounciation of Asa. His proper name is Asa Mayo, his nickname is Asey, pronounced like is looks.````Devon

I waited a week, then went ahead and changed the line about Asey and the Cape Cod pronunciation. Devon, 3/4/2008
