Photonics21

Photonics21 (P21) is a European Technology Platform initiative to improve the competitive situation of the European Union in the field of photonics in five industrial areas, such as Information and Communication, Lighting and Displays, Manufacturing, Life Science and Security. P21 has members more than 700 stakeholders who come from 32 countries.
The programme is a joint initiative (Public-Private Partnership) of the European Commission, representing the European Communities, and the industry. The main objective of the programma is to produce and implement a Strategic Research Agenda (SRA). President of Photonics21 is Martin Goetzeler.
