Phofo

Phofo is a music producer from New York (now living in Los Angeles). Alongside the legendary Prince Paul (De La Soul, Gravediggaz), Phofo was responsible for producing MC Paul Barman's critically acclaimed Paullelujah! LP (Coup d'Etat), which received 3 stars from Rolling Stone and was featured in Time Magazine and on NPR's "Fresh Air". Phofo has produced, collaborated with, and remixed ubiquitous indie pop and underground hip-hop artists like MF Doom (Gorillaz, Madvillain), Mr. Dead (Handsome Boy Modeling School), Jean Grey, I Am the World Trade Center, Mr. Len (Company Flow), Starchild Excalibur (Handsome Boy Modeling School), My Favorite, The Brittle Stars, Mariachi Los Toros and many others. He was a contributing writer to McSweeney's "Created in Darkness by Troubled Americans" (Knopf/Random House), a music consultant to PRI's This American Life, and is the editor of samplinglaw.com. He is currently composing the score to the animated feature film, "Los Campeones de La Lucha Libre" for Fwak! Animation[1] and is the composer for Sushi Pack, a Saturday morning cartoon on CBS[2].
