Phoenix Survivors
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Phoenix Survivors are an independent voluntary organisation who advocate on behalf of the victims of child sexual abuse (and their families) and for the families of children murdered by child molesters.
The organisation was founded by Shy Keenan, who was sexually abused by her step-father, whom she turned in herself (in collaboration with the BBC's Newsnight).
Sara Payne, mother of Sarah Payne, joined the organisation at a later date.
