Phoenix Chinese News and Entertainment Channel

Phoenix Chinese News and Entertainment (CNE) Channel (traditional Chinese: 鳳凰衛視歐洲台; simplified Chinese: 凤凰卫视欧洲台; pinyin: Fènghuáng wèi shì ōu zhōu tái) is one of the five channels that Phoenix Television operates. It was launched in August 1999 in order to serve Chinese viewers in Europe. This channel is a 24-hour channel based in London and broadcasted via the Eurobird 1 satellite (28.5°E) across the continent. Some of its in-house programmes include "Europe Today" (traditional Chinese: 《今日歐洲》; simplified Chinese: 《今日欧洲》; pinyin: Jīn rì ōu zhōu) and "Chinese in Europe Express" (traditional Chinese: 《歐洲華人快訊》; simplified Chinese: 《欧洲华人快讯》; pinyin: Ōu zhōu huá rén kuài xùn).
