Phoenix Airline is a start-up airline based in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. It plans to operate scheduled and charter passenger and cargo services, as well as aircraft maintenance. An air operators certificate and a name change from Eastern Express to Phoenix Airline has been applied for.[1]
The airline now operates as Juneyao Airlines since September 2005.

The airline was established in July 2005 and is owned by the Junyao Group (53.3%) and Three Gorges Aviation and Tourism Investment (46.7%).[1]
