Phoenix is a studio album from the progressive rock band Asia, the first to feature all four original members (John Wetton, Geoff Downes, Steve Howe and Carl Palmer) since 1983's Alpha. According to Asia's official reunion site, the band will play songs from this album on the 2008 leg of their world tour. The album was released in Europe April 11 2008 by Frontiers Records and in North America April 15 via EMI[1]. It was scheduled for release in Japan April 23 via King Records.
The Phoenix album cover features a Roger Dean illustration of a phoenix in front of the Asia logo on a black background.[2]
The album made #10 in the UK indie chart.[3] The album debuted at #73 on The Billboard Top 200 chart; #10 on the Billboard Top Internet chart. This is the first time since Astra that a studio album of Asia managed to chart on The Billboard Top 200[4]
