Phoebe Anna Traquair

Phoebe Anna Traqauir (1852 – 1936) was an Irish artist, noted for her role in the Arts and Crafts movement, as an illustrator, painter and embroiderer.
She illuminated a book of Sonnets from the Portuguese by the Victorian poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning, a key Arts and Crafts manuscript. A copy is held by the National Library of Scotland and an illumated manuscript is available on the Internet.[1]
