Original description:
The Surface Stereo Imager Right on NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander acquired this image at 17:11:32 local solar time at the Phoenix site on the mission's Martian day, or Sol, 0. The camera pointing was elevation -14.1193 [deg] and azimuth 343.312 [deg] The Phoenix Mission is led by the University of Arizona, Tucson, on behalf of NASA. Project management of the mission is by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. Spacecraft development is by Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Denver.
