Phlyctimantis verrucosus is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Uganda, and possibly Tanzania. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
