[edit] Hang on

What's the deal with CVU. Something's gone on and I'm not aware of it, so either find me on IRC or leave me a message on my talk and let me know what's going on. -- Essjay · Talk 02:33, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for reverting vandalism on my talk page. I appreciate it. For your efforts, I award you this Psi. Use it in good mental health or to fight off wiki-stress. Thanks again. -- Psy guy (talk) 23:11, 18 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks!

Thanks for the award; I'll use it the next time I have a disco dance in #Essjay ;-) -- Essjay · Talk 04:03, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Good work

Laudo quia in bello vandalis victoriam saepe consequeris! It may feel like a thankless task at times, but it's people like you that keep Wikipedia usable.

If you'll forgive my pointing one thing out, though, when you reverted Tea a few days ago, the edit somehow managed to replace all the &'s with &, which broke some HTML entities (e.g. turned "–" into "–"). I'm not sure how it happened, and I doubt it was your fault, but I thought I should probably let you know just so you'll notice if it ever happens again.

[edit] Browser trouble?

It looks like you may have a problem with your browser, looking at some of your recent edits to Talk:Main Page - see these diffs. For some reason, special characters like < > & are getting converted to html entities, so they display as < > &, which breaks links and things. Don't ask me what the solution is! sjorford #£@%&$?! 16:13, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

Ah, I just got beaten to it! sjorford #£@%&$?! 16:14, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
It doesn't just break links; it keeps superscripts from working, and bolding using the html codes which probably shouldn't be used anyway, as you did in Newton's laws of motion in this edit. How many others have you messed up like that? Gene Nygaard 03:41, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] He is Risen!

Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!
our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!
who did once upon the cross, Alleluia!
suffer to redeem our loss. Alleluia!

Hymns of praise then let us sing, Alleluia!
unto Christ, our heavenly King, Alleluia!
who endured the cross and grave, Alleluia!
sinners to redeem and save. Alleluia!

But the pains which he endured, Alleluia!
our salvation have procured, Alleluia!
now above the sky he's King, Alleluia!

where the angels ever sing. Alleluia!
