[edit] Image tagging for Image:Prodirl5.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Prodirl5.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Welcome
Hi PhilyG, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed the contributions you have been making and am glad to see the progress you have made thus far. I think you will be interested in the Professional sound production WikiProject which is a collaborative effort to improve Wikipedia's coverage of technology, equipment, companies and professions related to professional sound production. Here's the fancy invite banner, just to show off :D
Another thing: You may have noticed some of my edits on Live sound and In ear monitors, the ones you started. I would encourage you look at the code of other prominent pages as you continue to master the techniques of editing articles on Wikipedia. Give Manual of Style a good read, especially the "Headings" and "Images" section. It'll help you out a bit. Wikipedia really needs people knowledgeable about audio production to fix up its articles, so keep up the good work!! --Davidkazuhiro 11:38, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Music Production & Engineering
A tag has been placed on Music Production & Engineering, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Alex valavanis 18:11, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Society of Professional Audio Recording Services
A tag has been placed on Society of Professional Audio Recording Services, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. CIreland 08:34, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:MP&E.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:MP&E.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr) 22:18, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Light at the End.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Light at the End.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:11, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
