[edit] Newcastle, New South Wales
Hi PhillyWolf. In case you're currently working on the Newcastle article, you may want to take a look at the note I left on the talk page. It's just a suggestion. -- Adz|talk 03:30, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- Would you mind holding off on the shopping centre article for a few minutes? Ambi 04:16, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
Sure.. (PhillyWolf 04:18, 9 January 2006 (UTC))
Hi Philly,
I muat admit to having a bit too much fun with the Newcastle page, however, I did think that some edits were really valid and verifiable, including the following:
Newcastle Laps.
How people here are about thier cars
The fact that it's a football and surf culture
Also, the fact that TASTE magazine is here and is as valid a local magazine as anything else - even if I do say so myself!
I though these edits reflect the true nature of the city.
[edit] Quick hello
Just wanted to say hello. Saw your profile and I am the same but opposite. By that I mean that I am originally from Philadelphia but living in Newcastle for the time being. All the best--Looper5920 12:39, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Over here for a work exchange program. Been here for about 8 months now. Good times so far. Have you been down to Pat's yet for some of Philly's finest?--Looper5920 03:26, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
I like Newcastle. I live in Cook's Hill on Darby Street and play rugby for Merewether. People are nice, good food and good pubs. It is frustrating sometimes that parts of the downtown are not nicer (Hunter Street) because the city council is useless and a small minority of people complain so all development stops. This town could be awesome if they let some people in here to spend some money and build some buildings. As for Pat's and Geno's....it is equivalent to Coke or Pepsi except with Philadelphia being so parochial it tends to take on more importance than it should. I've eaten at both (Drunk and Sober) and I swear by Pat's. Just make sure if you go there when it's crowded you know how to order. They get like the Soup Nazi when it is busy.--Looper5920 04:05, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Oldgpo.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Oldgpo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 02:08, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
