[edit] Redlinks in year/date
Please carefully check that no redlinks on the year/date are created when using these settings for creating cite book calls. The current revision of {{cite book}} wikilinks the year/date. The old {{book reference}} didn't do this. There are some issues in calls regarding this. A common one is a wikilink in the form year=[[1987]]
which should have removed the double square brackets (I might add that to the regexes, but I haven't yet). Stuff like date=November 13, 1954
must be converted to ISO format date=1954-11-13
because the current revision of cite book requires that (book reference did not). I also found things like year=1963, 1991
(two years specified for the year parameter). The new cite book no longer accepts this (book reference did). I have manually converted such things to the new origyear
parameter as origyear=1963|year=1991

- This problem is gone for now. I've removed that automatic wikilinking of these dates from cite book (see also that talk page). --Adrian Buehlmann 18:59, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
