[edit] Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPMILHIST Announcements}} there.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, writing contests, article logistics, and other tasks.
- We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
- We've developed a style guide that covers article structure and content, template use, categorization, and many other issues of interest.
- If you're looking for something to work on, there are many articles that need attention.
- The project has a stress hotline available for your use.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Kirill (prof) 13:15, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] BRP Cebu (PS-28)
Hello Phichanad! How are you? Your new article BRP Cebu (PS-28) is very good. I have nominated it for the DYK. According to the lead,
"Along with other ex-World War II veteran ships of the Philippine Navy, she is considered as one of the oldest active fighting ships in the world today."
Can you please provide citation for this? Regards, Masterpiece2000 (talk) 13:22, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Atherton images
I had just modified the information on Atherton images. See if you agree on that. This was to be your work when they were notified to you having a lack of info. Sincerely, Sdrtirs (talk) 07:04, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:BRP Negros Occidental.jpg
If you want to remove the deletion notice, add a copyright tag. Removing tags without addressing the problems or even providing a reason constitutes vandalism, and you reverting my good faith edits without comment is extremely bad form. J Milburn (talk) 14:12, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:BRP Rizal 1.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:BRP Rizal 1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 14:45, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
