I am a retired professional engineer (electrical) and worked for the Navy Bureau of Ships overseeing electronic technician training, and the Technical Manual development for shipboard electronic equipment.
Early in my career I was an aircraft mechanic, and later an aircraft inspector. Oh yes! Uncle Sam gave me a trip to Okinawa and Japan when I was a shipboard Electronic Technician.
I have taught math, television theory, industrial electronics, and chemistry in three Community Colleges.
==Interests==
I enjoy computing, digital photography, and travel. My wife and I have traveled the 50 states and enjoyed the beauty thereof. We both enjoy learning to play the organ.
I have been a computer buff since 1983. I assembled a couple of computers from Heathkit. I am past president of the Heathkit User's Group in Virginia Beach, VA. Later I wrote articles for Sextant, the Heathkit computer magazine. I have developed scores of webpages.
