Good day to all! I just want to ask information about applying for the nursing licensure exam. Im confused about my case, I graduated last 2001 and I took the exam twice already but was not lucky to pass. And recently I decided to take again for the 3rd time but I can't find my RLE records anymore. It's cumbersome if I have to get new one and besides my clinical instructors are all gone I can't find them anymore.

Could it be possible for me to take the exam this coming december even if I can't submit my RLE? (I guess they can trace my previous records on their files)

thank you so much

  1. The NLE is not about luck, it's about preparation.
  2. If you fail the NLE twice you are required to retake your 4th year nursing subjects before you can take the test again.
  3. This is not a forum, this is an encyclopedia. This is not the proper venue to ask your question. — Sandtiger 12:03, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
I think refreshers courses are no longer applied for those who failed the NLE twice, or more than twice. Have no source/s yet but there are a lot who took it more than twice without going back to their respective nursing schools. Aldrinv 14:01, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
